About Kayla Lebeau (Lebo)
Dr. Lebo, a native of San Francisco, has always had a deep connection to her city, never venturing far from its embrace. From an early age of three, she possessed a clear vision of becoming a Dentist. At the remarkable age of 16, she co-founded a local charity named Smile-for-a-lifetime-SF, which offers cost-free orthodontic treatment to financially disadvantaged local teenagers. Even after more than a decade, she remains the Director of this charity, successfully raising over $300K. Collaborating with her co-founder, Dr. Kalika, they have transformed the smiles of more than 50 teens through orthodontic treatment.

Kayla's journey led her to acquire her D.D.S. degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Subsequently, she pursued a General Practice Residency with the Oral maxillofacial surgery department at the same institution. During this intensive program, she gained expertise in interdisciplinary and comprehensive restorative care for both healthy and medically complex patients. Dr. Lebo received specialized training in various areas such as head and neck cancers, sleep medicine, TMJ disorders, oral-mucosa lesions, and dental care under IV sedation and General Anesthesia.

As a dedicated holistic Dentist, Dr. Lebo remains committed to delivering exceptional care to her patients. She places great importance on continuous education and regularly participates in numerous courses focused on cosmetic and biological holistic dentistry. An active member of the IAOMT, she holds double certification in Invisalign from both Invisalign and the AACA. Beyond her dental practice, Dr. Lebo is fervent about holistic approaches to prevent and treat cavities and periodontal disease. Her innovative infused floss and oral rinse, utilizing 100% natural ingredients, earned her second place at the CDA (California Dental Association) competition in May 2018. These products effectively reduce the risks of periodontal diseases and cavities, supported by extensive research. For more information, visit Nocte on Instagram (@letsnocte).

She directs a digital media and IT program that caters to underprivileged youth in the Bay Area. Her involvement includes training and mentoring young individuals in animation, television direction and production, as well as magazine and podcast creation and publication.
During her leisure time, Dr. Lebo indulges in various activities, including cooking, juicing, working out, hiking, skydiving, and hosting a local live television show.

Winners don’t wait for chances; they take them. So excited to introduce #nocté , a patented oral health line of products created by your favorite dentists with you in mind. This remarkably extraordinary line is inclusive of all patients. After spending the last year working with medically complex patients (primarily head and neck cancer patients) I was reminded that limitations to mobility too often strips many from the luxury of being able to productively & mechanically remove plaque (a primary etiology of periodontal disease) from their own teeth. This inspired the creation of noctè.
In adults 65+, there is a 70% prevalence of having periodontal disease. 47.2% of the US population 30 yrs old and below have periodontal disease. Over 80% of dogs and cats over the age of three have periodontal disease. #nocté is all natural, Fluoride-free and clinically proven to dramatically slow down the progression of periodontal disease. The icing on the cake is that also promotes a basic oral environment - reducing your risk of getting cavities after eating. Sound too good to be true? SMILE FOR A LIFETIME SF
I believe in equality. I believe in access to healthcare. I believe in using our talents to positively make a difference in the world and lives of others. Although most people don’t know this about me, I’ve worked ever since I was 13 years old. At 15 years old alongside working in retail, I began working as a youth philanthropist for a non-profit known as CHALK. In this position I alongside 5 other “high-risk” bay-area youth were given the power to make transformative change in our communities. Our mission statement was ×´youth can achieve anything they wish as long as they have the proper training and support.” 10+ years later, even though I’m in dental residency, I STILL work at CHALK only now no longer as a youth participant but rather as a program coordinator. This philosophy of being able to make change through support has resonated in many aspects of my life. 8 years ago as a teenager, alongside my mentor, I cofounded a charity that provides free orthodontic care to local teens who need orthodontic treatment but cannot afford it. 7 years later and we’ve followed the journey of and sponsorship of 60+ local teens with life-changing restorative and orthodontic dental treatment. I’ll never forget the first 10K I was able to raise the first year of our launch and I’m humbled by the position I’ve grown into today. 6 months ago I became a licensed Dentist and alongside my mentor and the many donors who too believe in health equality I am beyond excited for the positive change we will continue to provide to those that would otherwise be overlooked. Yesterday, the last day of 2018, I was honored to receive the single biggest grant yet and can not wait to share the amazing success stories that will carry into 2019 as a direct result.
